After having a IV drip in my wrist for 24 h I have a sore lump near where the needle tip was. Is that normal? - sore lump on tongue

Iv infusion was only for one or two hours and left the rest of the time, if necessary. Should I worry about the weight or just inflict a little damage, they heal themselves? Thank you.
